GYPSY

LOL...this month's newsletter is seriously late. I need to get back into getting the newsletter out in the early part of the month and not the last day. I had it started, but lost track of the month. It flew by quick. So, this month is short again.

And, I pulled out my old self portrait pictures to create this month's graphic. It's me as a gypsy finding out the future...

CREATIVE: HOUSE NUMBERS

While I'm driving, I find it difficult scanning for the house numbers since its location is different on every house. I am trying to search for the number while at the same time I'm trying not to hit anything. It's even harder at night time. I think that the house numbers on the street curb should have some reflective paint to it instead of just black. Or, the house numbers on the house should have some reflective feature to it. Just a thought.

STORY: COOKIES

Peter smells cookies being baked. He goes into the kitchen to get one.

PETER: Dad, can I have a cookie?

ASHLEY: Wait...Mommy made some cookies, too. You wanna try?

PETER: Huh?

JAMES: You're Mom is in a competitive mode again. She wants to show that she can make cookies better than I can.

ASHLEY (nudges James): Try one, Peter.

PETER: Let me try Dad's first. (Takes a bite. It's delicious as usual.)

ASHLEY: Okay, try mine.

PETER stares at the cookie and takes a bite. Gross. If he says, "Dad wins," Ashley is going to use him as a guinea pig to test more cookies. If he says, "Mom wins," he would be lying.

ASHLEY: So, what's the verdict?

PETER: I'll be taking both plates back into my room. That's my verdict.

TIME SAVER: AIR DUSTER

I have a bunch of this at home. I use the air duster primarily from my laptop screen. It's better than creating scratches from wiping. The disadvantage is that the dust is still there. It's just not on my laptop screen.

Also, I use the air duster in other places too were I'm too lazy to wipe and where the dust can take a second home that can't be seen or has a new home in the outdoors.

Yes...I like my air duster. Simple and quick.
